There were several cancellations in New York and Los Angeles, for live performances of Philip Glass' INFINITY in which I feature as the soloist. Also for the Glass company's, WHISTLEBLOWER. We filmed INFINITY April 2021 in New York. Aaron Diehl on piano, Martha Mooke, Leah Coloff and Cenovia Cummins on strings. Philip Glass was zooming from New York! Arturo Bejar directed and filmed the piece and we were under the watchful crew of Lisa Iacucci and Jim Woodard, Dan Bora on sound and his assistant Zack Plaster. My work as an actress came to a pandemic halt, so I began writing the current piece WHO GOES THERE. The last acting job I did was as the Kentucky Barmaid in the film Kingsmen 2: The Golden Circle and as Helen Vine in the BBC crime drama Silent Witness. At the Days and Nights Festival in 2017, INFINITY was premiered live for it's one and only performance.

New music by Philip Glass with words by Arturo Bejar, performed live to the strings of Alex Weill, Matt Haimovitz, David Harding and Lavinia Meijer with Glass on piano. The piece is four movements: Baby, Child, Teen, Grown-up. Tara also joins Jerry Quickley on stage in a reprisal of a poetry performance of Quickley's Whistleblower accompanied by Glass and his ensemble. TARA HUGO SOLOIST The Crucible 2016
Philip Glass's score for the Broadway production of The Crucible, which closed in 2016 after a successful run, included an a cappella solo by Tara Hugo. The hymn composed by Glass was recorded and featured at the end of Act I.

Philip Glass's score to this production includes a recorded solo by Tara Hugo. Sung a cappella, the haunting hymnal composed by Glass fills the theatre at the end of the first act of Arthur Miller's American masterpiece starring Ben Whishaw, Sophie Okonedo, Saoirse Ronan and Ciaran Hinds.

Riesman has been playing keyboards in the Philip Glass Ensemble since 1974, and has served as its Musical Director since 1976. In addition to conducting the Oscar nominated scores Notes On A Scandal, The Truman Show, and Martin Scorsese's Kundun, he is the conductor of the revolutionary Einstein on the Beach, Glassworks, The Photographer, The Illusionist, Hamburger Hill, Music in 12 Parts, Passages, Koyaanisqatsi, Mishima, Powaqqatsi, The Thin Blue Line, Anima Mundi, The Secret Agent, A Brief History of Time, La Belle et La Bête, Candyman, Naqoyqatsi, Taking Lives, Secret Window and numerous other soundtracks and albums. Riesman was the pianist on the Oscar-nominated score for The Hours and conducted and performed piano in Book of Longing, the Leonard Cohen song cycle composed by Glass, in which Tara Hugo performed as one of four singers.
